EHMERGHERD KERJII :DDD My hun was in this one! hahaha but in all seriousness again I am not dissapointed and I don't just say that because we're friends I actually think you keep getting so much better as a writer, and definitely with English! (this is where I feel dumb for only knowing 1 language wahhh)

That said though there were a few things that don't exactly 'flow' in this like for example...*scrolls* where Kojuro says "You look nowhere near Samurai material", it would be better to say something like "You do not look like a respectable samurai". I understood what you were saying but the phrase you used made me cringe a little, it makes sense, but it's not written very eloquently! And to use another example; "He took a short moment to re-think the basics of his acts", again I understand this sentence but it would be a lot better if you just replaced "acts" with "strategy". There are a few other things like this but I think you will get the point from the examples I chose xD It's annoying because the rest of it is so good! And if you want I would literally love to beta the story for you to point out anything like this before you post it in the future! :3 Just ask, as long as I'm not busy haha

But yeah this was so good! I like the introduction of Megohime and LOVED going into the battle through the viewpoint of Rin like; with these two parts of the chapter you had a way of pulling the reader in to feel like in those moments you were Megohime and Rin. I could feel the love of Megohime for Masamune and the horror Rin experienced of going into battle. I feel like Rin's character development is on point hahah like perfect in this chapter; we get to see her in first person during the battle and then in third person with the conversation with Masamune after! It's a really good contrast I think; placing the reader in Rins position and then seeing her afterwards; not exactly sure what Im trying to say here but it was awesome haha. Modoru is also an...interesting character...I think you introduced him well, you definitely get a sense of his instability.

Well...at the end of the day I'm insanely jealous I seriously need to write again ; n ; *gross sobbing* I'm sorry Rye one day you will get a story. Oh also I'm so happy you didn't kill Keiji off hahaha, I was like if he loses to that one-eyed midget I AM GOING TO BE HAVING WORDS WITH U KEIJI. Also I really want to play the game again now -.- Gonna stop typing because I'm just rambling now! Loves!

It pains me to say it though but Rin has the type of personality that really irritates me. However, it is what makes Rin the character that she is, she is identifiable and that is a good thing. I just kinda hope that she develops more confidence as the story progresses ;
I really do like Masamune in this story. His personality is just perfect! And I adore the relationship between him and Megohime. They are separated by war and distance, yet their hearts will always remain close to the other. It is really beautiful.
I laughed when Magoichi and Kojuro excused themselves to avoid Masamune's anger in that last scene. You really caught the atmosphere there.
I love how you've incorporated musou into the story. Completely forgot about that from the game. That will make everything so much more interesting cuz in a sense, they all have a sort of 'super power' then.
*2 Nobunaga did die at Honno-ji because Mitsuhide betrayed him, that fact is definitely true.

Masamune has a great personality in this chapter. You really identify him and give him a soul and essence in your writing. It's great to see how Shiorin has become so strong since the massacre of her village. Great stuff!

This is such a good opening to the story! It's written really well and with a good level of violence too. I like it :D Hooked already.

Ah don't worry about Shingen's death, he probably did die from sickness or an infected bullet wound, and Nobunaga was probably suicide, but honestly most historians debate it to this day. The same thing goes for Kenshin (some say he was assassinated while on the toilet)
And don't worry about it being historically accurate, just write what makes you feel comfortable and flow with your story :) It was a good chapter, I thought you covered the musou thing quite well in a realistic sense. Don't worry about Rin being a Mary Sue, usually you can tell if you created a Mary Sue, and I don't get that vibe with Rin. Now for critique I felt that some parts were a bit rushed, but maybe I'm just the type to write a lot.

Wonderful chapter, I don't know, I just really like Rin's character, something about her just feels innocent despite the things she went through. And Masamune's father death is always a popular concept to explore. (Hooray for angst)

*1 I was pretty sure that Shingen died of illness...I don't think he was shot :s But now thats made me doubt myself...

*2 I think Nobunaga just burned to death at Honnoji, I think Mitsuhide slaying him was just Koei dramatizing their stories in SW x)

But like you said before this is fanfiction and its not like the other options are completely inaccurate! Anyways cool chapter, I was wondering how the hell Rin managed to punch a hole in the ground :L But it's musou...cool...

Also I get what you mean about making them talk and think so much, but I guess because you're telling the story essentially from 4 people's POV: Masamune, Rin, Magoichi and Megohime, so you need to give a certain amount of thought from them so that you keep the sense of balance in your fic and we are familiar with their personalities :x But thats just my opinion.

I really like reading this, something about her character doesn't reek of typical Mary Sue qualities. She's not described as completely beautiful nor is she jumping right into Masamune's arms. And she's not some girl from modern time, some captured princess, or some main character's daughter/long lost sister. Even though it's short to judge her, I like what I'm reading so far.

She seems shy and as describe by her parents her gaze seems empty. Some how that seems slightly endearing about Shiorin. I hope you update this story :) I can't wait to see how this goes.
