I am in awe! One of the best BG friendship fics out there. I love that someone had them finally address the death of Merrick. Great job with the emotions and the reactions to the truths shared. :)

That was incredibly sweet - I never thought the show did enough to fill in the dynamic between Giles and Buffy, but thankfully authors like you can fill in the gaps. Well done!

Very good one-shot! (u seem to be very good at those.) Two thumbs up (even thoughI think that Merrick was stabbed in the movie, I like the way you made his death better than in the movie. in the movie, Lothos was like "im gonna kill your watcher" and then when he did it, buffy just stood back and watched like an idiot. I mean, really? This makes much more sense!)

So sad. But I love how they needed to fix each other in order to move on. I like all the issues they need to air in order to move on and be able to work together. Buffy is such a complicated character and so flawed that it is amazing she still has a sense of humor. Beautiful job.

D***it! I think I'm gonna be crying for the next couple hours after reading this. (That's especially bad considering I have a cold right now.) It's amazing that nobody considers what Buffy had to have gone through after Merrick's death. Even when Faith came 'round and whined about Kakistos killing her Watcher, it still wasn't brought up that she wasn't the only Slayaer to lose her Watcher. At least Faith had another Slayer to run to.

Sorry, don't mean to be so bitter about Faith and her Watcher - 'cause I'm sure it really sucked for her. Guess it's just that fanfic writers (and the show writers) made a big deal about Faith, but completely forget about Buffy.
