Okay I accidentally posted my unfinished review just then but god. Second I REALLY FREAKING CANNOT digest WHY there had to be rape when it absolutely did not contribute anything to the story. What? Was it to make Shizuo feel bad because he could've gave Izaya protection? Cuz I wasn't feeling that either and it just annoyed my ass that it felt like Izaya was at fault like freaking he just got raped why is he supposed to apologise to Shizuo? And I feel like this is very ooc in a way that makes my blood boil because YES Shizuo would definitely not hesitate to kill Izaya (ketsu already confirmed this to us) but in my opinion he wouldn't be so heartless to exclaim that he wants to still kill Izaya after what HE did and what Izaya went through. Okay maybe I should just accept this is how the author wants to portray the characters but I can't not when so many triggering subjects are being dealt with. I mean how can you just handle rape that lightly like a walk in the park? And does nobody try to sympathise with Izaya LOSING HIS CHILD LIKE WTF. I know it looks like they're trying but hell no they aren't. It does NOT HELP WHEN SHIZUO KEEPS SAYING IZAYA BITCHING ABOUT EVERYTHING LOL HE HAS NOT FELT CARRYING A CHILD TO HELL WITH THAT. I'm sorry for being a triggered mf here but I just can't.

Okay I got a lot to say about this story.
First of all that ending was sooooo rushed I mean it would even be more understandable if this had an open ending where Shizuo and Izaya end up parting

Okay this totally didn't feel finished. Like Izaya got raped and almost died, are the culprits not getting punished? Like the ending feels rushed, Shizou gave no shit about Izaya's life up to the point of being at Death's door. Suddenly Shizou is sorry and at the end Izaya confess he is actually in love?! I think this feels like a elaborate set up, Shinra planned this with Shizou to push Izaya to be with Shizou. All boils down that everything sounds sketchy.

Well this didn't go how I hoped. Shinra was too harsh on Izaya though, after all Izaya has been through too.

I don't really think Matteiru is a name. If it is, it's not a very good one. Honestly there are far better names to choose from. I don't think it's an actual Japanese name, in all honesty, because in all the places I've searched Japanese names and believe me I have a lot of sources, Matteiru was never one that popped up. The child's being named an honest to goodness word, not an actual name.

Also, Izaya is NOT a brunette. This seems to be a major flaw in everyone writing Izaya's appearance. They forget his hair is black, thus making him a raven, not a brunette. It's like their colorblind. Mairu and Kururi are the ones with brown hair, not Izaya. This whole calling Izaya a brunette thing has quickly become grating, making me wonder if people are truly blind to colors that they can't tell the difference between black and brown!

I don't mean to be rude... but it's so incredibly frustrating that it's moved on from frustrating to me just hating everyone's fucking stupidity! I mean, really?! At first, I was only a bit bothered, then it got repetitive, then it got to the point where it pissed me off because I honestly couldn't tell if people were truly this stupid or if they wereally intentionally changing his hair color.

Brunette... maybe people think brunettes have black hair? If that's the case, then there is no more hope for the human fucking race at all. None. At. All.

I can only hope that there are still some people out there who realize this error, because I keep checking back and forth between pictures to make sure Izaya really does have black hair. I'm losing my sanity bit by bit as my small brain cannot ducking comprehend why?! Just why, lord?!

Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying.

I'm kinda pissed at Shizuo. How does being raped make someone a whore? Fucking asshole. Rape, you fucking dickwad, means that the sex wasn't consensual, thus he wouldn't be a whore if he was the one raped.

A rape victim is not a fucking whore, slut, or tramp, you got that? They are traumatized, victimized human fucking beings, who are ridiculed and embarrassed by people who think that rape constitutes as whoring themselves out. Despicable! You should be ashamed, Shizuo. You need to take those fucking words back, and feel guilt for what you fucking said. I HATE people who call rape victims whores.

Technically Izaya should have the choice of whether he wants to abort it or not. It's his body. People conveniently forget this fact though, saying the father should make the decision of whether or not the baby gets aborted. I think the one who deserves the final decision is the one who is pregnant in the first place, because it's their body, and they have to deal with the troubles of pregnancy and the cost of having said kid. Some aren't ready for that, and they shouldn't be forced to bear the child to term if they don't want to. I'll admit I don't like the abortion method, but in all honesty, it's an individual's decision, no one else, that decides whether the fetus lives or dies. Shizuo really has no right, in all actuality, to force Izaya to keep it inside him since this is Izaya's body. Therefore his choice.

You should do a sequel with izaya getting pregnant again

While the plot of the story is unique, it was somewhat poorly executed on many occasions. I suggest learning from criticism and not being quick to throw it into the "it's my story, I do what I want" bin, as you have been doing. I say this because you have shown to be very critical towards other authors and their stories, so you should probably be accepting to criticism as well.
Also this doesn't belong in the 'Romance' category, I suggest changing that for the sake of the readers, who could better find this story if they are interested in such a plot (and save the trouble for those who are not). But thank you for providing the fandom with quality fanfiction, you honestly have a lot of potential.

Well, there was not enough romance in the rest of the story - except for the last two chapters, but the plot and story development was good.

PS: The only thing I obviously did not like was the fact that Izaya suffered like Shizuo did, and yes, I know Shizuo did his best to be kind to Izaya but I think he also deserves an apology too.
Anyway, that's personal opinions and mine does not have to interfere.

I don't understand how this is supposed to be Shizaya. I mean, yes, it's Shizaya, but I don't yet understand why is in the category of romance when both have not even begun to feel anything for each other.
