Good story

For some reason the ending is so happy that I feel it must be the result of Sam's feverish delirium. The other option is he has finally reached his heaven. Sam and Dean are too much of a trouble magnet to live happily ever after :P I loved Dean's "big brother" act, the way he does not fail to take care of Sam.

Oh how I want to see the boys like that again. Thank you so much!

Loved this. Sam's pain and desire for his brother to have a normal life and then Dean's emotions in the hospital were written so well that I could imagine it on screen. Loved this one.

This was all kinds of perfect in my eyes. The only problem is now that I've read this, I want to see it on screen!

I liked how Sam lost all hope, how he stayed in the hospital letting people help him for change, not caring about his own future. That loss of faith and grief for a life he once had rang true to me.

And Dean was spot on. Torn between anger at Sam lying about being back and happiness to see his brother again, not even knowing that he was crying.

And the ending with the 'Driver picks the music...' seemed fitting, seeing it all come full circle with the echoes of the pilot. Great read and thanks for sharing. Take care, Madebyme

If only we could see a reunion like this between the brothers on the screen, but I have my doubts that the writers will listen to any of our wishes, especially after the season five finale.

I love that Dean found Sam in the hospital. I wonder if Sam said something when his fever climbed. It was also nice even though Dean was happy to see Sam, there was a moment of anger too, since Sam had kept his escape from hell a secret.
