Pretty good story. Just a couple of minor issues, though:

1.) You seem to jump back and forth between past and present-tense.

2.) Why did Egon have to build a machine to convert living beings into ghosts, when he already has a device that does just that in the Ghostbusters' arsenal? If you ever get the chance, watch the Real Ghostbusters ep, "The Bogeyman Is Back". In that episode, the original GB crew use the device to turn the Bogeyman into a ghost long enough to trap him (being a completely solid manifestation, he was immune to the ghost traps and proton guns).

Other than that, good job. I always felt sorry for Syren; she didn't deserve to get trapped (which is more than can be said for her sister).

her "new life" doesn't make sense as she never was really alive as such. 0h well this was a pretty fare story. Glad to see folks trying to keep the XGB alive, if only on the web, that was a god show!

Hmmmm... pretty good. A few words of advice though (just structural story advice): When you're writing a story, it helps the readers follow it it the entire thing is in one tense (like past or present). Other than that, the story's great. If you want any writing tips, let me know

Cool story!but what about the original ghostbusters?

This story is so cool. I like the whole idea of letting Syren go. But creative writing speaking well you could try to make it come alive more (and Syren is spelled wrong, I think). Great job keep it up.

this is really cool, i dont get to watch the extreme ghostbusters much, but i like the story. id really like to see something with kylie and eduardo, though, but thats just the weirdo in me talking
