Yep, you've sold me. I'm still keeping my "Rip Open E-Space and Go Get Romana" pin, but you've sold me. I always thought that it was losing Donna that really broke him and sent him spiraling down into that terrible place that reached its low in Waters of Mars, but I've never seen such a clear and precise analysis of the Doctor and how much he needs somebody to sell it to him straight as the one you've written here.
