That was intresting with the bit that real witchs can't burn never heard that before. This was really good.

amazing, as always. You got me worried with this dangerous turn of events (ok, maybe even scared for a short while), but I'm glad now. The story was excellent. I love the idea for the ending and how well you caught this powerful, overarching love of Kurogane for Fai. Maybe it ended a bit abrutbly, but I was still truly satisfied. well done!

heartwrenching and damn beautiful! I just love it! Everytime Kurogane have to save Fai, it never fails to show how much Fai means to Kurogane. And in this story, you definitly shown exactlty how much Kurogan can't live without Fai if Fai ever dies. I must admit that hearing and seeing Kurogane's confession of how much Fai means to him, just left me breatheless."If you died - if I lost myself again - I don't think I could stop. I don't think I'd want to stop, not until everything in the world that killed you was dead."

You totally outdid yourself writing out Kurogane's confession because damn i can just smell, see, and taste Kurogane's desperation and passion. It was damn intense. And how i wish i was the one recieving such passionate confession. .~

I don't really know what to say in my review...but I still wanted you to know that I really liked this story!

It was well written and Fai did make a really good point about it being useless to burn a witch if they really were a witch cause they could protect themselves. It makes me kinda sad thinking about all the innocent people who got burned for that kinda stuff in the past...But it made me happy to see Kurogane willing to reach through a fire to save Fai even if it seemed helpless!

Oh my god that was like the best thing ever. Like ever ever. Ever ever never ever ever! XD

Even though during the witch hunts they didn't burn witches (it's just overly generalized that they did- what they really did was either hang or drown them (though drowning was more of a test because it was rumored that witches couldn't swim)) I love this fic.

I really have no idea what to say, except that this story is amazing and is in need - RIGHT NOW - of a review, lol. I don't think I could sleep at night unless I reviewed this.

I loved the ending of this fic, with their conversation.

"The last time I felt like this was the night my parents died."

I especially like how you use the character's past to explain their actions. The way you associate it with the present is fantastic.

"Kurogane frowned. Something about this situation didn't seem quite right, but he couldn't put his finger on it."

Hmmm...It's perfectly understandable that Kurogane would find that something fishy was going on, but for him not to realize that he was being lured away, it's kinda odd. He's a warrior and has been in a lot of situations (and worlds), and therefore must probably know when a scheme like that is going on...?

"People are stupid," Kurogane summed it up much more succinctly.

This is really good.I love the suspense, the structure,the IC ness, everything I think this is one of your best fic after Fair Weather. (n my opinion)
