I love this series

Lolzies! Poor Hermione! (And Tom! A Date?!)

Ha! I love that she catches him off guard!

Nice prequel, I loved it.

Okay, so I've read this mini-series of one-shots ages ago and I absolutely loved it, but because I suck at remembering to leave reviews, I didn't tell you how awesome I think your writing is. And since yesterday, 21st August, was Fanfiction Appreciation Day (on Tumblr) and your series of one-shots made my list, I'll now proceed to tell you in detail what a brilliant writer I think you are.

"One glance at Tom told her he had been ready for non-verbal spells since his third year."
So true to darling Tom's character and Hermione's observational skills.

"She was determined, however, to get him on the floor before the end of the lesson."
Double entendre, anyone? *sigh* I read too much smut :)

"[...] even Tom chuckled, stroking his wand with his long fingers as though he was soothing it, telling it to wait, its time would come."
I love this bit so much. In my opinion, it encompasses the epitome of who the young Dark Lord is.

"He had lost the cocky, arrogant smirk and now sported a serious look [...]."
Oooohh, things are getting interesting. I always love this moment in a story when darling Tom has to acknowledge Hermione to be a worthy opponent.

"'We're waiting for the right moment, Professor,' Tom said, his eyes not leaving Hermione's."
God, I love this. It amplifies the tension between them exponentially.

Man, I so enjoyed their heated banter once they'd left the classroom. It's written superbly and feels/reads utterly natural.

"'Hermione got us thrown out,' Tom said smoothly. 'She destroyed a bust.'"
Lying, sneaky, little punk! I love it.

I grinned like a lunatic at Tom's reaction to the announcement of the Graduation Ball mirroring Hermione's distaste.

"[...] she preferred to keep him where she could keep an eye on him."
Don't we all? Though maybe for slightly different reasons ;)

"Tom merely looked up from his essay, held her gaze for a few seconds, smirked, then returned to work."
Cocky bastard.

You've captured him perfectly and Hermione reads very much like canon Hermione. Awesome job!

I swear I'm not stalking you just kind if reading through most if your stories (which I guess is just as creepy) but they're so good. I love this whole series (?) with the five one shots.
