As much as I hate to admit. This was a great response to what Sasuke can and can't do. It was dark. Maybe in another lifetime. We all wish and hope the next try will be better. I always hate reading when Sakura becomes annoying. She sees her love and her pain and expects so much from Sasuke when she shouldn't. Good work.

I'm a sucker for dark fanfics. I think, was really beautifully written with all the dialogue and flashbacks, positioned perfectly. Your description of the battle (or last blow) was so gradual, it drew out so many emotions from those few moments.
I think your portrayal of Sasuke, is accurate here. I wonder myself if he is still capable of loving. And you've given him a real solid background as to why he just couldn't reciprocate; not that he was bad, he really juslt couldn't. Kudos to you.
