You have done a great job, especially for your first piece. If you want help grammatically there is a program called Grammarly which is fabulous. The basic version is free.
One suggestion is that when you someone speaking break it into different paragraphs instead of one large one. It makes it flow a bit better and easier to read.
For example, when the doctor is explaining everything . to Rick.
You can have one person speaking and finish one thought than create another paragraph then have them continue the next part of the explanation.
Just an idea.

It's a shame the TV episode didn't show a little more detail. It makes more sense after reading the missing scene, and shows the feelings of all those involved. Very enjoyable reading, you can visualise the scene, through the writers words. Excellent reading

Great job with your story! I just found it on fanfic and was so excited to see someone writing some new simon and simon fic! such a great show! I really enjoyed your story and agree that the show did not show nearly enough of the repercussions of being given a drug like that!
