I agree with you about the effects of regret, I certainly think they'd sober up Max's personality, and while I've seen Harper be happy for them before, the most accepting I've ever seen Masons reaction written was grudging at best, but I love how you made him happy too, and made him part of it. :)

I think that was completely in character. It was pretty amazing. I think I am falling in love with your stories :)

Alright, tonight is a good night to finally get around to some serious reviewing. I feel an urge to write, but can't seem to finish my own fic.

Alright, the ring is something that honestly really surprised me. I think it comes from earlier fics where the two were separated after a fight with their parents.

I keep getting confused on what exactly the ring is. At first I thought it was a wedding ring, but it doesn't look like one (for either Russo). For a minute I thought it was an engagement ring, but that isn't right either. After a bit of thought I guess it is some kind of committment ring that isn't as illegal as an incestuous marriage.

This is one of your better works recently. I'm not sure why, but it is a favorite here. It is less confused, the clues all mean something, and Max's PoV is always fun.

I am impressed by Harper and Mason's enterance. I'm not sure why, but it just seems significant. I also see a bit of a metatext in Mason's showing up, a Jalex writer making peace with a character reflecting the characters making peace with each other.

I wonder with the congratualations if it is their marriage, or if the two are having a baby. Presumably they married earlier (being a year or two older than Max's 18 and living on their own).

"Your mind really can't comprehend anything and you can't stop wondering, is this what happens every time your parents go out of town?"

I laughed way too hard at that.

A sad fic, but it's Jalex, I can't like Jalex without liking angst.

I felt that Max was done perfectly for this. He was out of his old character, but his character has changed and grown.

I kind of wonder what he is going to do with his magic. His victory may be as ashes and dust, but it is still a victory. He has the power to change the world in his hands, and a whole lot of regret.

This is a heartbreaking but beautiful story. I love how Justin and Alex have found peace with one another and it's very interesting from Max's point of view. Very powerful and very well written - thanks for sharing!

This is one of the best Jalex stories I've read from Max's p.o.v. I don't think you made Max too OOC considering the circumstances he's going through. Great job!

I'm still shocked that I almost cried. I normally don't with books or stories, but I almost CRIED. But very good story. I normally don't like JustinxAlex in a non brother sisterly way but on a rare occasion I do. This is a rare occasion, great story!
