I just started watching psych 3 1/2 weeks ago and I read this all in one day today it took me a little over eight hour ( that includes my lunch break and breakfast break) but I finished it and thank you so much for starting this almost a decade ago.

You know, I'm normally very suspicious of first person POV, but with Shawn's you actually make it work well!

Loved the bit about “using big words”. You’re very funny and have a great grasp of Shawn’s humor. I liked how you went back and forth from cop mode to psych mode. Perfect! Keep up the good work!

A Little Birdie Told Me has quite an intriguing plot and premise both. And with 36 lengthy chapters, the author takes the time to develop the ideas properly. There’s a good balance of mystery, romance, and excitement throughout, including some nail-biting moments in the latter half of the story. The writing itself is absolutely solid; very nice to read. But what I probably love most about this fanfic is the way in which the author captures the characters. The tale is told in first person, alternating between Shawn’s (primarily) and Juliet’s voice–and the characters are spot on. I’ve seen writers capture Shawn pretty well in the past, but this author goes the extra mile to pull together nuances, details, all the little absurd things that make Shawn, well, Shawn. I love it! The relationship building between Shawn and Juliet is really cute as well, very them. I would definitely recommend A Little Birdie Told Me to Psych fans everywhere, and I will be checking out the author’s other work in the near future.

I don't usually enjoy really bad whumps, but this - this was different. Knowing that Shawn was in so much pain and yet his (almost) first words held only concern for Jules . . . It totally broke my heart.

OMGosh, I can't stop myself, the way Shawn retold the story had me laughing hysterically. Especially Lassie's part! XD

I've been really enjoying this so far - the way you portray the characters is flawless, it's just like the show! And normally I wouldn't comment, but this ending - I had to write something XD I did NOT see that coming. I think I actually laughed out loud just because I was so surprised. Excellent work!

HOLY CRAP. WHAT A JUMPSCARE. OHHHHHHHH MY GOSH. OHHHH MY GOSH. MOST CLIFFIE ENDING TO A CHAPTER I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY GOSH DARN LIFE.
And wow, a lot of people have reviewed this since this chapter. XD

Still very, very good so far. And yes, I know this is like the 440th review that's saying that, but it's a pretty darn good story. And like I said earlier, feels just like a darn good episode of Psych, just in book form.
