Reviews for Hand in Hand
Rayni chapter 1 . 4/14/2011
I really liked this fic! I felt that you kept both Lloyd and Colette very in character, and this felt true to how I feel they have matured and changed, and how they might be on their journey together. I kind of wish that more had happened, that there was another chapter or two to go more deeply into their feelings for each other. You also have some really poetic turns of phrase! Good job. :D
Symphoniafan chapter 1 . 10/30/2010
I haven't reviewed any stories in a while, but I really thought this one deserved one.

The characterization was amazing. You really had a clear grasp on both Lloyd and Colette's individual quirks. You also managed to add a sense of maturity into both of them, without taking away from their personality. Very impressive.

The details were smooth and well-fitted. The way that you added in his similiarity to Kratos, was perfect as well. The entire story flowed so easily from moment to moment.

Colette is a very deep character and you captured her point of view perfectly and her feelings for Lloyd.

The scene with Lloyd and the flower, and how conflicted he seemed to be was adorable. His hesitation and uncertainty. It definitely left me waiting to see whether or not he would say something. And yet, even when he didn't it felt right. The ending seemed to say all that needed to be said about his feelings for Colette.

A job very well done. The writing was amazing. Thank you for such an enjoyable story.

Till next time.

How did I miss this hnnnnnnngh. So cute! *A* I love your use of language; it's refreshing to see good writing in this section, heh. It's also fairly different from my own writing style (it's fairly succinct and "to-the-point" in comparison), so I may have to take some pointers from you! Not to mention your characterization was great, for having not played the first game. Which you should do by the way. 8
PrincessRibbon chapter 1 . 10/24/2010
This was...just...absolutely amazing! So adorable and sweet, and, I just can't think of the right word to describe how great it was. This is my absolute favorite pairing anywhere, and I was so shocked when I saw you didn't play the first game yet, because you seriously wrote it great. Keep up the terrific work, I'm hoping to read more fics soon!

Wow. I wish I could accurately describe this story, but I can't. It truly captures the feeling of love... I think I'll go read some of your other stories -
SheenaMalfoy chapter 1 . 10/23/2010
You haven't played the game? Then how on Aselia did you get their personalities so perfect? Though normally Lloyd isn't into giving meaningless gifts, the way you wrote that made it seem like Lloyd was trying to show his affection and didn't really know how, which kinda fits. Lloyd is a little clueless in the game, maybe he's starting to realize his own feelings a little. I also liked how you wrote it from Colette's point of view, as many people don't like her enough, and just write as Lloyd. You also captured the complexity of her character very well, most people place her as too clutzy or too cheerful. When writing as Colette you have to remember that her thoughts often don't coincide with her actions, and you seem to have caught that as well in your writing. In conclusion, I love it, and wish I could write like that as well.
The Wind Guardian chapter 1 . 10/22/2010
I love this... Wow, my breath is taken away...

You captured these two perfectly. The way they protect each other, make each other feel better... I love how you incorporate Colette's angel senses this way because so many people ignore those and leave out how painful some things are to her now-like thunderstorms.

Lloyd doing silly shadow puppets is so like him. He always knows just the right way to cheer her up. So sweet...

As you probably know, I really love stories that involve Colette's wings. Lloyd's are interesting too, but I just really Colette's. It was so adorable how she touched his and he wasn't used to that. Her running river of apologies was so Colette-like, I laughed. Their wings are beautiful and fun.

I'm the proud creator of Ratatosk's six missing Centurions, well, I have my own versions of them-which you may know because you read Remembrance which has my favorite Ventus in there. Your story about Ignis and Solem made me laugh, because that is honestly something I can see happening with them. Solem is a rather cruel Centurion, but Ignis is somewhat nice, at least, hehe. Kudos for that.

This wasn't an overly fluffy one-shot, which I like. It was a chaste light piece which made me feel so happy and filled with flutters the whole time I read it. I can't wait to see more stories like this.

You never fail to impress.

CrimsonDarkness 0013 chapter 1 . 10/20/2010
again, walkthroughs XD a good pairing indeed. Random, did you refrence from KH stuff? Dark stormy night reffering to KH1 when Desinty Islands gets swalloed by the darkness, and Hand in Hand being the end song and/or fight theme to Traverse Town? XD Just a random pointer, cuz I found it funny. Awesome job
