I love the way you portrayed everyone, I thought you captured their personalities perfectly. Even Draco, because I've always seen him as the funny dramatic type under his fear of Voldemort. I'm guessing you're not continuing this story but it was great and I loved it!

Last time i read this was back two years ago and a lifetimve but off time later you updated with the last chapter. Bud that i have read it again. I feel so bad for Draco and I would have kicked Blaise in the teeth because he was a bitch for that. But he is with Ginny and i have always hated her character. :-(. And while I can't expect much from Ron. I would have hooked Harry would have changed his ways a little with Malfoy, but I guess talking crap about dead parents leaves people super upset art one another. Anyways I also want to know how is Draco able to transform with it a wand? Can he do wandless magic?

Why are they always fighting and arguing? You'd think that the 9t chapter of the 14 would help ease some of that childish shit. Omfg.
Fucking Harry and Ron are always ruling Draco up. Draco was born into that type of environment. Weeks and months aren't going to change him overnight. Wtf and their superiority thinking they can order him around. Obviously Draco has no one else but his mum. Who else can he protect? Obviously harry won't understand if his parents are fucking dead. At least Harry didn't have to see his parents suffer unlike Draco where he knew they may or may not die under the hands of the dark lord or whoever else that may hold a grudge against them and not have the power to do anything.

Let me just say, I found this accidentally and wasn't even planning on reading it.
AND THEN IT WAS AMAZING
Normally I would be unhappy at there only being 14 chapters, but you put SO MUCH into each of them. So much information, so much happens, I don't even know how you can write so much. I mean, just when I think it's almost over THERES MORE. How you do that I'll never know.
And thank you for being realistic yet still providing some lovely Drarry and wonderous smut and what not. You didn't just make them suddenly want eachother after six years of hate, but you still made them get together with enough time that it makes sense, but not so much that I'd be bored or anything.
Even without Drarry this story is awesome.

Well everyone's finally gotten themselves to the point where I dislike them less and sort of care what happens to them now. Of course I care about Draco, he's been more or less a sympathetic character from the beginning, though I think he sticks his hoof in his mouth too often. I could kick him sometimes, but I understand and empathize with his prattish moments. Gryffindorks would drive out my inner bitch, too. Their smug surety of their own goodness and righteousness while doing really rude and nasty things to people reminds me of why I hated and left the church I was raised in.

Harry here is an older version of what he was in canon..very much in character in my opinion. I still do not like him and I sort of feel sorry for Draco, that he is considering Harry for his first. I personally wouldn't trust my feelings and vulnerabilities to a mess like Harry. But you did a really excellent job highlighting how vulnerable and messed up and good (yet defiled by war and his connection to Voldemort) Harry is. In fact you spell it out a bit better than JKR herself did. So I find myself accepting him more and more.

Blaise I hate with a passion a lot of the time as I read this. I find him really wretched. Up to a point...and then there's this part of me trying to understand why Harry asked him to make an unthinkable sacrifice...and why Blaise agreed to do it. There's something between both of them that is really ugly on the surface based in what little I know that makes me recoil from both characters.

I often admired Ron in canon at certain crucial points, but overall found him a bit scary in canon and really alarming here. I've not had friends who use their fists to express their frustration since grade school. While I indulge in boxing and various forms of fighting as sport and self defense training, the idea of hitting a person in anything other than self defense or respectful sparring is reprehensible to me. Striking a person in anger is unthinkable. So a person like Ron who assaults people in response to verbal incitement, is someone I find repulsive. If my husband were to do such a thing I'd think twice about keeping him as a spouse. I can't understand an intelligent woman like Hermione tolerating, and as Draco says...pandering to the violent tempers of Harry and Ron.

Of all the golden trio I always favored Hermione. I dislike the ruthless side she's shown to Draco, but when I think about it, it is in character. This is a woman who, in canon, kept Skeeter trapped in animagus form and blackmailed her, and altered the memories of her own parents without their consent. She is what she is. Voldemort better watch himself!

Now, while I'm not overly fond of the characters and would not ever in real life hang around any of them at the pub, I do adore reading about them. I do really enjoy your story and find it suspenseful, intriguing, layered, and addicting. Your ability to write action-adventure scenes is indisputable.

I see you have part of the sequel up. I'll read it, knowing it is not finished yet and may very well never be completed, depending on where life and your muse takes you. If you leave the story right where it is, so be it. I'm content to stay on the white horse to the very end or be thrown off midway. It's still a good ride and was worth my time.

Even in canon, I'd had my fill of self-righteous judgemental hypocritical Gryffindors by the end of the series. You've taken all of the golden trio's worst traits and magnified them to the point I can't stand anyone in this story anymore aside from Narcissa. Draco isn't exactly endearing, either. But he is a damn sight more sympathetic than Harry or Ron, who both ooze envy to the point it's nauseating. Hermione seems very untrustworthy.
