Very much enjoyed all of this, the reflective nature of much of it, the details of Vulcan life ‘on the road’ so to speak, the work, the routines, the friendships, misunderstanding and the sheer hard work in reconciling two very different cultures yet losing little from either. This Sarek was not canon, simply because this Sarek would not have treated his son Spock with the narrowness of thought and expectation canon Sarek did.
Imo the best scene of all? Amanda laying into T’Pau when she tried to delay her from going to Sarek when his time had come. Lovely to see that doughty stubborn old dame surprised!

I liked how you wrote this story, I am glad you made Amanda a strong woman character with demands. I really liked how Sarek realized he was in love when he read her diary. I like the community it gave a positive light to the Vulcan culture. It was cool how you made the relationship with rules that was cute. When Amanda came to Vulcan I like the way she handled their prejudice, and how she dealt with T'Pau now that's a story! I hope you will write another one how she handle T'Pau. That would be cool.

Oh MY! This is such a good story, I like the way you made Amanda a strong and independent type woman. The way you integrated poetry into their relationship that made Sarek fall in love with Amanda. The story line is great, I like how she uses her intelligence to deal with the prejudice Vulcans, mostly during the council meeting. This story is so amazing, I read it twice! I hope you have a continuation with her and T'Pau, you wrote her role excellently, the way she doubted her ability to take care of Sarek. I hope you next story will deal with Sybok and his mother, I know Amanda will have a way of dealing with her, she made Sarak suffer.
