Healing doesn't take a lot of energy for Cas: he healed Dean and resurrected Bobby moments later after Lucifer and Sam went to Hell and he healed Dean from Eve's bite easily enough.

i liked it. one thing though, you never actually mentioned the team finding out that cas was an angel. i mean, the team started out with 'the guy with them is jimmy novak, he went missing.' and thenthey took them in and the winchesters were calling him cas and the team kind of just went with it. then, when he did his angel stuff, like healing and his tracking thing, i felt like they just accepted it cuz he was an angel. i feel like it would have helped if maybe they questioned why they were calling jimmy cas and how he was able to heal dean and then be explained to that he was an angel. sorry, it just bothered me a bit. thanks for writing this. i enoyed reading it.

This is pretty good but you have a habit of just randomly throwing out stuff that you haven't really set up, which makes it a bit disjointing, especially since you address it all in dialogue. Setting it up before hand makes the narrative a bit smoother and you get a lovely bit of "holy crap!" from the fanbase, especially when you can trace it back.

For example, your female vamp having a ton of companions. A way to ease that in would have been to have had a witness to one of the crimes spot someone who looked like a dude. Give the first vamp chick short hair, have Dean make a smart alec remark and we're all "Oh, so she's just butch." Then have a dude vamp attack someone privy to the tape in the final showdown and have it click for someone. Then have a bunch of vamps pop. You've set it up subtilely, we're all surprised, and you have evidence that you intended this all along.

Other than that this is really good. I enjoy your characterization and Sam being a jerk in the interrogation room considering Dean's crush was awesome. Good job.

Otherwise, it's a very good story. Some spelling/grammar errors but I think some of them can be put down to relying on a spellchecker-those things never catch the spelling errors that are actual words but not the right ones. Any chance of a sequel?
