Reviews for Green Eyes
TessaJo chapter 24 . 2/20/2019
Couldn't put it down. Beautifully well written out. Loved every minute of it, thank you!
Miss Lib93 chapter 17 . 5/26/2016
I loved the fluff and actually clapped when Cas first kissed Dean. Couldn't believe Bobby shot Dean, but at least he survived and got to kiss Cas again. Yay! Thanks for writing
Miss Lib93 chapter 14 . 5/25/2016
This was so cute! I love the beginning and Cas enjoying the moment. Now they just need to actually acknowledge there's something going on and kiss. Thanks for writing
Miss Lib93 chapter 13 . 5/24/2016
Sam is like us and knows there's something between Dean and Cas because of their bond. Thanks for the cute moment and for writing. I'm really enjoying this so far.
(My phone has been glitching a lot so I'm getting a comment in while it lets me)
Miss Lib93 chapter 3 . 5/14/2016
The ending was cute. I think Dean smoked in a few minutes after leaving and stayed invisible like he did with Castiel. He was just waiting for the right time to show, but heard Cas calling for him. Thanks for writing
Miss Lib93 chapter 1 . 5/13/2016
This was good. I've had it on my to read list for awhile and finally got to it. Interesting idea. There's one typo during Castiel's beating; Jacob(?) asks Dean if he's defending a Green Eye now instead of Blue Eye. Thanks for writing. On to the next chapter
PoohBear chapter 10 . 12/10/2013
This reminds of something I came across in Lies My Teacher Told Me (A book you can find in your local library. It's about how American students don't learn history because textbooks leave out anything controversial which may offend parents-otherwise known as the interesting bits). I read about how in an all white class, one teacher divided them up by eye color, and students quickly learned to discriminate. And the students remembered the lesson because they had an emotion attached to it. (The book talks about how we don't remember historical factoids because history gets sterilized.) "Lies" mentioned this to show that a particular textbook was wrong when it asserted that it was natural to discriminate based on skin color. It is no more natural than discriminating by eye color. Still, this is a VERY awesome idea for fiction. I think I'll borrow it. Well, if I ever actually sit down and write a story. I hardly ever notice people's eyes. And what about sunglasses? So many interesting things. I suppose I can borrow from racism and have some people be forced to step off the sidewalk when others cross their path. Or I can make it like how height is discriminated for today. Or the myth that guys with bigger dicks have better sex. I know that genetically speaking, eye color inheritance is complicated. So is hair color. There was one parent with three children: one was blond, one was a brunette, and one had red hair. Go figure. Albinos have red eyes because they have no melanin. I kinda want to see Sam walk into town so I can see the more subtle effects. I can see that our bad guys are doing this not just because of the eye thing, which pleases me. I'm interested in nuance. Especially after reading Lies My Teacher Told Me. Racism was an effect of slavery, but it didn't end when slavery did. Somehow Europeans forgot about Africans intelligence and began to call them dumb. As one person (I forget who) put it, "These must not be men, for if they were, I would not be a Christian." I probably won't finish your story today though because it's finals week.
loverofgaydragons chapter 7 . 10/29/2013
OMG! I knew rasicm was stupid but this is ridiculous. I almost smashed my laptop I was so pissed, may have to take this story in small doses to maintain my sanity.
Neumzie chapter 13 . 11/23/2012
so far, so good. hope still present. but you know bobby/jim beaver has blue eyes, right?
Neumzie chapter 12 . 11/23/2012
i swear to god, if you rip this shred of hope away at the last minute...
Neumzie chapter 11 . 11/23/2012
oh god please don't let this go the route of uglies, where the main character gives in and let's themselves be brainwashed in hope of correcting it later
bingbo chapter 24 . 7/22/2012
Oh, that was, that was really great, the idea was incredible, all the characters, but that ending just killed me. :'(
The-Serious-One chapter 2 . 7/7/2012
OH GO SUCK A LEMON.

I love that line, I laughed so hard XD
bearberry915 chapter 24 . 6/16/2012
Wow. Okay, Muffy... You. Are. Amazing. Completely amazing. I really have lack of words right now. Okay, I'm lying, I'm gonna write a very long review for this story. The point still stands, this story took my breath away.

I wasn't sure what to expect from this story when I first clicked on the link, it was suggested to me by a friend on Deviant Art. She said it was her most favorite fan fiction ever written, so of course I had to go ahead read it. I'm glad I did. Just the idea of this story alone, "the eyes", is amazing and SO original. Personally, I think this have the potential to be a very famous, published, trilogy. All you would have to do is substitute the characters names (though, I like their names as is... SPN fan and all that :D).

Now I know I'm skipping WAY ahead, but I really want to point out (not so much as "point out" as to give my "pointless" opinion) everything that happens in the last chapter. Dean dies. Fuck woman, you are amazing! Right now I want to say that you are British (but, judging on how you spell "color" I'm assuming your not). Yes, I am aware those sentences seem unconnected and seemingly random but hear me out. British writers are not afraid to kill off characters, they are amazing writers, and they produce the most amazing books/TV shows. You seem to fit the bill. Anyway, I'm getting off topic... My point is, Dean's death is amazing. Not because I am one of those people who enjoy reading stories when Dean dies (I guess I could be but I'm not [you're going to have to take my word for it ;)]... When characters I like die, and the situation gets to me I will cry like a baby. You should of seen me when Castiel died on the show. Sorry, off topic again), but because it was completely unexpected. I like when I don't know the outcome of something, it's thrilling and exciting (again why I like British TV shows/writers so much).

Okay, before I start pointlessly babbling again, I'm going to move on (not sure if you can tell, but I go off topic, A LOT). This part will be short (hopefully). This is my actual (more slightly negative) critique: parts of it could be confusing at times though often everything would be explained later on in the story. Still, at that moment in time, it could make for a slightly confusing read. Besides that and a couple of spelling errors which I will hold no one accountable for (please, who hasn't made a few spelling mistakes here and there?), this story was absolutely brilliant!

Since you said you enjoy challenges and you haven't started (or I just can't find) the sequel here's my challenge for you: See if you can write and submit a chapter a week for Golden Eyes. Rules are, if you accept this challenge, you start right away (you must publish the first chapter within 7 days). If for some reason you cannot publish a chapter on time you loose a life (you have 3 lives). You can bounce as many ideas as you want off of other people. You can try and find loopholes in the rules (I actually just thought of one, :D).

One last thing before I end this review, I really enjoyed reading your authors notes. Sorry, I thought I should mention that.

Anyway, PM me if you end up accepting my challenge. Warning though, I won't be able to respond until July (so about 2 weeks)... Actually, I was suppose to be packing for my vacation instead of reading this. I read this instead. It was totally worth it. :D
