ok of all the fics in the series, this last one got me the most. it's so beautiful and so emotional in its conflict and sadness. perhaps it's cause I can relate to Matthew in a way in this situation, but I absolutely love this chapter. I love all your other chapters too; they're all so well written and constructed to be ambiguous and not at the same time. I love the ambiguity as much as I hate it. I look forward to more fics.

I don't know why, but this chapter really means a lot to me. I used to be really close to this girl, and she thought the same way as Gilbert (a direct quote from her- "As soon as I can drive, I'm going to get a car and leave this town"). This reminded me a lot of our former friendship, and I got a little sad. I just love this chapter. Actually, the whole reason I read this fic was because of the video Gil Beilschmidt (I love her!) made of this! So yeah... Keep up the awesome work!
