I really love this idea of performing an inception on the Joker. The way you show the Joker's mind is so believable! Especially how Joker reacts to the gun; I love that part so much considering that in the Dark Knight Joker specifically states he doesn't love guns. I also love your portrayal of all the characters. You actually give them a personality! I am in love with this story and hope you continue. Keep up the great writing!

I love the Joker's mind, it's so... intriguing! And the second the Batman showed up, I was all "YES! IT'S THE BAT!"
Honestly, this is a great crossover, and I've been looking for something similar for a long time. There aren't many well written TDK crossovers, and there certainly aren't a great deal of Inception fanfics. I hope you decide to continue this wonderful story!

I've understood from your author's notes that you were experiencing heart problems during the time that this was being written. I hope it was nothing serious, and that you feel better! Health is, of course, more important than entertaining internet fans (haha)... I sincerely hope you are feeling better.

there needs to be more inception/batman fics; they are fantastic and there are just too few of them. oh the irony! the only projection that comes out to protect the joker is his batman (loved his description). a little sad to hear that bruce can't go back in but i like how they keep underestimating bruce. it kinda makes me want to see what they'd find and how they'd react in bruce (or batman's) head. i'm eager to read more.

Ugh, I know exactly what Unit 731 is, I researched it before. Disgusting crimes against humanity. Anyways, enough of that.
The arrival of Cobb means that this inception is actually going to happen! I am pleasantly surprised at the Batman projection, it's certainly... Frightening. It's like Batman's more than human to the Joker, which makes a lot of sense. I also like that the Joker is hypersensitive, he's an interesting individual to be sure (but when hasn't he been?)

Huh, Joker's projections being black slates was certainly an insightful and novel idea. I was suprised that none of the projections was Batman, considering Batman is the only person he sees as more than a tool. Batman "completes him", after all.

Ooohh my gosh this is really interesting! I like itbso far. I noticed a few mistakes here and there concerning missing words but they were very minor. I love your writing style, and your integration of the Batman world into Inception (or is it the other way around?) is absolutely flawless and entertaining to read. Just my observations from reading the first chapter. On to the next!

This is so very brilliant. Your Joker is amazing, as is his dreamscape. I loved your mention of Goya last chapter (somewhat of an art nerd...) and your descriptions of the Joker's projections do sound a bit like something out of one of his paintings. When the Batman came in during the dream, I let out a noise only dogs can hear. I keep wondering whether the Inception team will figure out anything about Bruce, or whether he'll let something slip or what.

Interesting story, itneresting premise, interestingly written. can't wanit to see what hahppens next.

First off, I must say that I am sorry about all of your ailments, and I truly do hope that things get better for you, both physically and mentally (I do hope you are able to find a better roomate, it pains me to hear that yours is abusing you in any way). As a writer myself I understand how hard it is to keep up with writing over extended periods of time and I must say I am glad that you have decided to keep writing this, despite the lack of time available to you.

Along with that, I understand that it is unlikely that a new chapter will be posted for this story anytime soon (judging by the previous timetable of updates) but I truly do hope you don't give up on this story, despite how long it may take.

This story is simply amazing. First of all, just the premise of the story had me interested from the get-go. The idea of going into the Joker's mind is an interesting, albeit scary task. To be honest, I was a bit wary going into this story, seeing as the Joker is a rather complex character that not many people (I assume) could really take on, but I must say that you are doing a fabulous job of writing his character. The way you write his interactions with other characters is spot on, in my humble opinion, and I'm never left thinking 'oh, he would never act that way'. You do an amazing job of portraying his character realistically in the sense of how he would act in these situations.

As for the other characters, namely Arthur and Eames, I think you do an amazing job with them as well. I love both these men, so I am glad you managed to capture the essense of their characters and what makes them, well, them. I also love the way you write the banter between them and how natural it flows. That was always my favorite thing about them, so I'm glad you were able to capture that in your writing. I find myself smiling way too much while reading this story, if not for just the character's themselves. All the other characters are also written very well and add greater depth to the story.

I must say, you have done a fabulous job with this story and I truly do hope you find time to keep writing it. This is an amazing piece of work and now I'm left wanting much, much more.

Once again, I do hope things get better for you, and I also hope that you continue with this story. I shall be waiting if and when the next chapter comes out.

Oh Chris Nolan...using the same cast over and over again has given some very interesting possibilities here.

As crossovers go, and fiction in general, I might add, this is incredibly well written and thought out. The concept behind it is extremely interesting and has been written to be plausible as long as one suspends skepticism enough to be able to handle general sci-fi, and you have captured the Inception characters and the Joker very well and accurately. The only one who seems different is Bruce Wayne, but I'm going to put that down to him being more or less entirely out of his depth/comfort zone/area of expertise on this one, since I really can't bring myself to criticise such a good piece of work.

I look forward to your next update, and sincerely hope that life becomes a bit more stable and conducive to writing for you.
