Maybe after going too long (a year or so?) without using magic (he doesn't use it because magic reminds him of the war and everyone he lost, which he wants to avoid remembering; and because he doesn't think he deserves to have magic anymore) his accidental magic starts to act up and he has to admit that he's a wizard. |
