I think this is my favorite thing about the show. With Uther's relentless expectations and Arthur's sense of duty to be the Prince his people look up to, Arthur's need to have one person with whom he can be genuine, relaxed, human. Whether it is slash or just bromance, I always find this the most precious part of Merlin fics. You've done an excellent job or portraying that in just a handful of words here.

I can't even begin to describe how beautiful this story is. I want to tell you exactly how it made me feel, yet I can't find the right words. The sentences were intense, something I really get excited about. You used such gorgeous wording, and it was so soft and pretty and shiny and I'm so in love with the entire thing.

Sorry I'm being kind of incoherent-babbly but seriously, this story is amazing and I will rec it to everyone I know who loves Merlin.

This is so amazing! Short sweet and beautiful. I love tics from Arthur's POV they are hard to come by in that they often are not as good!
