I've only watched this movie for the first time a few weeks ago.
I must say I'm happy to find great fanfiction like yours exists for it.
I could see you were setting up a well rounded story and conclusion based on the movie and I absolutely love it. I know this story was written years ago and will probably not get an update but I am grateful for what is here.
It's believable how the rich and powerful can manipulate behind the scenes. I liked reading Roxanne investigating along with megamind's recovery and repairing of the city. It really felt like a nice continuation to the post Tighten battle.

This Fanfiction is fantastic! So few of the stories on here have a good mystery/detective feel but this fic got it perfectly! It was cool seeing Roxanne lead the story instead of Megamind. You’ve done a great job fleshing out the characters and Megamind’s backstory too. It really helps fill in the blanks that were left by the movie.

While its too bad this was never finished, what's here is pretty awesome. I really enjoyed reading about Roxanna getting to do some investigative journalism and the picking apart of the backstory given for Megamind and Metro Man.

My theory for where you were going with this is that Wayne's mom was behind forcing Megamind into the villain role to make her son look even better as a super powered hero. After all, what's a super hero without a super villain to fight?

You know, I know it's been literal years and there's probably no way you're ever updating this story, but I just got back into the Megamind fandom and I read a fic that reminded me of this. I really love it, by the way; despite being so old it's well-written and very interesting. I was always so eager to see what Roxanne would find out next!

Hi! I was really enjoying this last chapter, but saddened that it was the last chapter. Maybe some day you could continue the story? I would definitely love to see how it ends completely!

I'm really enjoying this. I know it's been five years or so but I hope you keep going. It's nice to see a story that picks apart the inconsistencies and shows some real troubles with the way Megamind was treated.

You left right as the plot had me at the edge of my seat! I wish you would finish this, it's too fantastic to be left unfinished, I think I'm going to burst! Lol. I love a good mystery and this really got my mind going. :)

Aw. This is adorable. If you ever decide to continue this, I look forward to finding out who is behind all this. While I truly think that the 88 life sentences he received were exaggeration for comedic effect type details, thinking about it on a serious level is interesting, and I'm really enjoying this fic. I have to admit, there was part of me that was wondering what his life sentences were for, as so many of his evil schemes didn't seem life sentence worthy. And then, of course, the part about being raised in prison- I really had to tell myself not to think too hard about children's movies.

88 life sentences...I've read about a case where someone received over 600 years as a sentence, but not...what would 88 life sentences be? An average of about 6000 years in prison? Both in RL and in Megamind, you kind of have to wonder if maybe tacking on more years becomes a little ridiculous after a certain point.
