That was unbelievably good. Amazing character depth, and without cliche or expected behavior, they remain in character.

I love this story! Wish there were more stories with this plot. It's light-heartened in a way that makes it so enjoyable to read. I'm hanging on the edge of my seat yet not in suspense. I actually wished it was longer because sometimes you just really want to read something without having to wish for the characters, or plot to go some specific way or get it over with already so you could get to the 'good parts'. So I personally think really well done with this one. :)

Okay, yes, photo, I greatly approve of her finding it and her decision - but what really slayed me was the cookbook's precious bookshelf bonds. You fight that fight, cookbook. You fight it and win.

I really liked how Kyoko "confronted" Kuon when he was angry and knew she wasn't speaking to Ren, but with his real self and didn't back out. The story is interesting, thank you.

Lovely and well written, and unusual in the sense that you take the direction of slow accommodation of each others into their lives, and that sudden change of pace in the middle of chapter ten gave the sense you'd sort of given up there but just... fitted, you know, and sometimes bits make me want to squee in happiness (because you have the stunned senseless in a good way descriptions down pat).
And... it irks me that bits are just that leeeeeetle bit out of character, even accommodating for years and skill and Kuon morphisms. She sits there and takes the ranting, and Ren loves her for it. That is not Kyoko, or, at least, a different Kyoko to what we'd be accustomed to seeing.
Gosh her ridiculous sense of japanese impropriety is gone.

Rant back but be pleased he kept his composure, or something, going off like at Shotaro (close person practically lives with), those gotta have some influence in how she reacts, aarghkblurbllfl, throwing up hands in frustration because not actually sure what it is but enjoyed reading it too much to want to give it a decent breakdown.

I have such strong(quite malicious) thoughts and feelings here. These of course is not directed to you, author, but towards the character. (This is not criticism! Ren at the most, was definitely not OOC! Their actions felt so right and so in character.)
I was so confused, why was Ren angry? She loved you no matter who you were! She didn't care that you where hiding it from her! Throughout their 2 day separation, I somehow wished that Kyoko will get hurt from an accident or something, just to make Ren suffer more! Ahaha okay enough cruelty for today. Great story! Looking forward to more of your works and magnum opus.!
