Still loving this! Just sayin'...

Loved reading every second of this story! So sad it's done, I'll just have to re-read it again!

This has been a great little read. I haven't really gotten that much in to Star Trek, so I felt a little lost from time to time. I mostly came here for Jack. So, overall it was really interesting to me. I liked the way you worked with Jack's character as he got older and older. Working him in to Star Trek history as if he had always been there. Jim was brilliantly written, of course. And Jenny showing up had been amazing!

This story had a great beginning and a lovely ending. Amazing crossover. Thank you for uploading!

Have to admit, I would have liked to see Jim's reaction, though... And Spock getting to meet Jack. Are you sure I can't convince you to write an epilogue? :)

Woohoo, tons of meaning behind the title! In truth, though, I interpreted "vale" as the Latin word for "farewell." You know, because that's the name of the song that plays when the Tenth Doctor regenerates: "Vale Decem" (Farewell of the Tenth).

I like Jack's TARDIS.

Wow! So happy! That the arc might be EDESNE never even occurred to me. I hope she takes him to Surak - at least to say goodbye - but hopefully to live out the remaining century or so... I love what you did with DOOM canon. :)

Wow, that was such a great start. But what happens next? What will happen to Jack now? How long will he stay on Vulcan? And when will he meet James again?

But it looks like you've stopped writing this, unfortunately. I hope you will pick it up sometime again. I'd love to read more.

I don't know where this is going but so far the view is nice. With that said, may I ask when there may or may not be an update?

I am extremely interested in seeing this continued. I have no idea where you're taking this but you undoubtedly have my attention.

Man, it's surprising, and original, and awesome, and unbelievably well written. All cute and drool-y at the same time... Very confusing for me... and yet i love it(And when french people love, it's forever)! I was kind of desperate because I couldn't find any really good crossover fanfic recently, but you made me freakin' HOPE AGAIN!

Aww! That was so sweet! I love this idea - the pairing had never occurred to me. But you're right. Surak had to get the idea and the strength from somewhere.

I always kind of wondered how Surak did it. Remember how Spock described ancient Vulcan when he was 5000 years in the past? It was feedback along the low level telepathic link that made him lose control when he was many light years away from Vulcan. If the link is that influential, how did Surak overcome the feedback from all the other Vulcans in order to calm his mind and control his emotions? Spock had been trained in how to do it his whole life and he was still unable to maintain control when faced with that feedback.

The Surak of canon must have been incredible! I think you are doing a great job of portraying that awesomeness. And now Jack has his full attention. Jack also has several million (or more) years of experience controlling his emotions. Now Surak has Jack's mind to buffer him through the bond as he learns control and logic. Go Jack! :)
