Yeah, so I had to read this thing twice. The first time around, I didn't know crap 'bout what was going on. And then, I watched a video review of the anime, and THEN! I read it again, and understood quite a lot more. Mikuru being a time traveler, Haruhi being bigger than Gawd and all that. LOL

So!

Again: this was N-I-CE!

I liked the mix of angst and WAFF in Mikuru's POV. It was very unique.

And of course, the smooch was *O*

First, I have to admit I have a soft spot for stories written from Mikuru's point of view. I think her character has some potential for interesting character depth, and stories that star her are rare. That said, this fanfic has some flaws that need to be adressed. One, some of the sentences sound odd. Two, Mikuru's romantic feelings for Haruhi have no development or explanation. Three, there isn't any development to the moment of the kiss, either. Even if the kiss is a random whim (which is plausible, knowing Haruhi) it doesn't *feel* like something Haruhi suddenly decided to do; it feels like it was simply placed into the story. In summary, I wish you had tried to show the path the characters took to reach the decisions to do what they did. In the case of a character without a viewpoint narrative, that's harder, but you can you use dialogue to show what they're thinking withoutstating it outright.
