Great start. The emails between Nyota and Jim were perfect!

I think I just died. First, not only was this a brillianr idea, but I love the rate it's going at. Of course, it could have been taken a little slower, but it's not stare-you-in-the-face rushing. The whole Bones/Uhura and Sulu/Chekov thing is just adorable. I also find it weird that as I read this I was listening to 'Enchantment' on replay...Overall, I love what I've read so far!

As someone who lives in San Francisco I feel that I can say with some certainty that long driveways do not exist in San Fran. I ugre you to look up San Fran on google earth or maps and look at the residential neighborhoods.

I'm pretty sure the site has been having some problems. This morning it start your latest chapter was the seventh...Weird. Anyways, the chapter was great. I did not expect Gray, but YES to Jim standing up for myself. Things are wrapped for the couples nicely. Sad that's it's the close to the end.

I can hear the movie voice over guy saying welcome back to Amanda in my head. Once again very well adapted scenes. I'm sad that the next chapter is the last.

i commend you on the steady posting; it is great to get a new chapter daily, even if short - speaking of, i like that you are making the chapters about one or two scenes or situations, don't worry about the length.

btw - eiskaffee, yum! reminds me of summers in prague and frankfurt. i normally don't drink coffee, but these variations are delish.

Okay first off, I love The Holiday! It was such a cute movie! Second, I LOVE what your doing here. Like seriously! It's witty, funny, and has such a smooth flow to it, it's like you write so well and your not even trying! The only I wish for from you is longer chapters! But I know how hard it can be to get them to stretch out longer. All in all, I'm extremely intrigued by this, and I cannot WAIT to see how Jim and Spock hook up :)

On another note, I'm very sorry to read about your brother. I'm sure if he read this story he would be very proud of you.

again, another of those really funny moments in the movie you have captured so well. the almost-three-way conversation is priceless.

great interaction between jim and selek. i always imagine jim is half-puppy, with his boundless energy and enthusiasm, and so the scene in selek's house, jim going through his mail, has that feel for me.
