U read this some years back and decided to give it another read since it's been so long and there's so few Yu Yu Hakusho stories out there.

In my previous review I had pointed out to the author how difficult it was to get past the first chapter because of an offensive line. Since I can't edit my review I decided to leave a new one.

It says a lot about a person's character in the way the respond to criticism, and Totidem Verbis responded with dignity. They reached out to me and, despite us both agreeing the story was very old, decided to take the offensive line out. The story is obviously enjoyed by many and deserves to be left up in as much of its original glory as possible. Accepting that Verbis has most likely evolved greatly in their writing skills since this story I was impressed that they replied to me.

I will give this story another shot, I think. I hope Verbis continues writing and continues improving :)

I wanted to like this. It was so highly recommended. Alas, I couldn't get past the first chapter because of the way you choose to describe the appearance of our heronie.

"I knew it wasn't a rapist, because to be honest, I wasn't much to look at. Five feet tall and way too skinny. Boring normal brown hair and stupid hazel eyes. Yes, nothing special. So, no worries."

REALLY? There is so much wrong with that line I just... I couldn't get past it.

It's been a long time since this story was published and completed. I do hope your skills have moved past wiring lines like that. It's... Well, it's damaging to those who fight against rape culture.

I've read and re-read this story over and over, and to this day it remains one of my all time favorites! I love it so much.

I have been glued to this story in the first few chapters, I've laughed and cried a little, how you write is beautiful and I can feel the emotions you are trying to portray. This chapter really made me tear up and smile at the same time, keep on writing, I can't wait to see how it ends.

This is probably one of the best stories I've read. It made me wonder who Raygan will end up with. The auhor knows how to stir the reader's emotions. I was aware that the plot is for Hiei and Raygan (I am a huge Hiei fan) but I can't help and fall in love with Yomi and Raygan pairing. The ending and character realization of Hiei was also overwhelming. Thank you for writing this story!

Please continue on with this new story. I am actually a huge fan of Raygan and Hiei's story as I am actually rereading it for the fourth time and another different story would be just as welcome in my opinion. Your writing style is a favorite so please grace me with another PC/Hiei's story. :)

I would love to be able to read another Raizen sister story! This story is my absolute favorite Hiei story and I would love to read another of your Hiei/OC stories. I really hope you decide to write another.

I would love to read your new story. I actually re-read this story a few weeks ago. I loved it, but I do agree that Raygan was too overpowered. I usually hate stories with an overpowered OC who's some kind of special snowflake or "chosen one" but I honestly just enjoyed your story too much. I'm excited to see what new ideas you have to make a new and improved version.

I say write it. I know I'll read it!
