I've just been gobbling these down far quicker than I should. Being able to write all nine so well...The squared hat trick!

I think this was my favorite chapter so far now!

Hahahahaha! I've done that before, except it was with a egg. We had a egg-dropping contest at my school, so we were all naming our eggs and talking to them! In the end I dropped it out the window and it didn't crack! But it cracked when I threw it at my friend XP

So cute and so sad. This is a lovely look into Marina's life, another character we know so little about. She isn't Hunter, and she isn't Human, she almost seems closest to a night thing, and yet the Hunter's keep her. I always wondered why. I love how bittersweet this story is, how she reflects on her pain and things she will never have and yet the tone isn't overall angsty or self pitying, it's just almost matter-o-factly, just accepting things and reflecting on what she does have, even if she didn't explicitly mention it. It seems so in character for her, to reflect on bitter things, and then turn around with a genuine smile because accepting it is all she can do. Wonderful job.

Aaawww, poor Mar! I wanna give her a hug now...

There are so few stories about Daemon, well I suppose there are few stories at all, but Daemon is often overlooked. This was an insightful look into his life and faith, or lack there of. I thought it was a perfect ending, with him being respectful of a deity, just in case. Anathea's explanation of her belief and her attempt at explaining it were perfect as well. I always enjoy reading you work, can't wait for more!

It's great to see a characterization of Nadya, she is often overlooked. I liked how you flowed from her strength into her mental strength and how well she can hold up against the daily life of a Hunter. I also like how you incorporated each character, explaining how they carry her and what they mean to her life. The entire group really is quite woven together. To take one out may just be the undoing of them all. Anyway, lovely addition and I can't wait for the next chapter!

As always, your story was wonderful. I love that it's from Jay's POV, we so rarely here from/about him. He's one of my favorite characters, though maybe that's why I like him, because we know so little of him. I don't know. Anyway this story was fantastic, it's interesting, the voice you have given him. He feels almost alone it seems, because he feels like he's not a freak and they all are. Maybe I'm looking too much into it, but it almost seems like he's slightly jealous, but not really at the same time, if that makes sense. Like he's too normal compared to them. Maybe I'm wrong, just what I thought. I am so happy you wrote another chapter of this, and from Jay's POV no less. Please continue writing!

Ok, that was just the best. fanfic. EVER! I reread it like, 5 times!

I always love your stories, and this one is as lovely as always. I am a little confused at the last couple of sentances, what was the interaction between Cassidy and Teresa there but other than that I don't have a negative word. I loved the tradition of holding handsand making a wish in the silence of the new year. I also liked how you showed Cassidy just quietly observing all of the others doing their own thing. You are always so great at keeping them all in character, it is like you know them. Well done.
