I loved Babysitting but I thought this was weird...and sad...and not in a good way. At first I thought it was Ren wallowing in sorrow that Kyoko had left him but when all comes to light at the end, it's pathetic. All it was was that he was just a drunk (which I hated). Kyoko'd been gone 2-3 months for a job (and what's all that about her not telling him whether it was a photo/movie shoot?) and he used that loneliness as an excuse to drink himself silly. He's got a major drinking problem which Kyoko had been trying to help him off for years. Sorry, I hated your Ren here and didn't like this piece. The song didn't fit either as it was of a guy lamenting his lost love which wasn't the case here...or did I totally misunderstand this story?

Your Babysitting was brilliant - very well told and hilarious without the humour being overdone. Perhaps the long chapter novel like stories are more your forte than angtsy/artsy stuff? Thanks for sharing though.
