Must admit, it did take guts, and imagination on the writer's part to pursue this route. Few middle or high school kids their age would dare make this choice. Take it from me. I had a similar choice. My second love, my family hated, and hers, me. We dated secretly for the longest, til we were old enough then got together. This story brought up some dark times and pleasant memories from my past too. Good job. You made a definite connection with this reader. |
