i like how you separate the parts of their personalities (arthur&merlin vs. prince&sorcerer) to help explain the position they find themselves in, and get them through it...

as merlin is trying to explain how stopping the arrow wasn't him - oh, yes, sorry - he moves it out of arthur's face... :P

Good fic! Last chapter is the best, in my view. I can understand completely that coldness that they'd have between them, and then how one would eventually break it, and things would carry on as if it had never happened. Merlin and Arthur are inseparable, after all!

Oh I love this! Love love love! The little bit about the 'lovers tiff' is completely hilarious as well! I've always thought that those in the castle who didn't understand their unusual friendship would think they were "friends" instead... you know? *evil grin* It's so entertaining watching the two of them squirm in embarassment! Not my favorite of your fics, but totally adorable!

I know this is old, lol, but I just had to say how much I loved the interaction at the end. Trying to find a way to hide my grin, as I'm sitting in my office and don't want people asking me why I am smiling!
