I'm actually underwhelmed. The best way to put why I feel this way is it feels like the writer took a bunch of yaoi fanfic stereotypes, dumped them into the story, but didn't really build up the narrative. There's also the assumption that from just two episodes the viewer can conclude the characters are gay, but should, so there was no build up of context as context is assumed by the writer to already be there.
