I got all tied up and obsessed with some other thing...

Anyways, to the actual review part.

Initially, I was confused to what all the italic sentences meant, only understanding that they had some relation to Yusei. Though upon reading your ending A/N and reviewing them again, they make sense, and ultimately I find it beautiful, for some reason.

The other characters reactions and responses were interesting, and I could almost empathize with them. Yusei has such a hard life, and I don't get the feeling it's going to be a long one in this fanfic.

Beautifully well written as always. Had me tearing right through it once I got into a reading mood, eager to know what was next. ;D

Can't wait until the next chapter.

You write to beautifully. I love how you wrote the conflict going on in, not only Yusei, but everyone else as well. The tidbit about Yusei's character is great, they fit perfectly.

The bits about Yusei's personality was good. As usual your writing is amazing. I wish this is what happened in the episode instead of the dissapointing thing the writers did with it. Can't wait for next chapter!

Once again very well written and in character. I honestly love your version better than the anime's. Since I'm not sure if you've seen the newest episodes yet I won't say anything about it yet. Can't wait for the next chapter!

I feel so bad for Yusei. All he's ever tried to do is keep everyone safe, and he failed to protect Bruno.

Great chapter. You are a really good writer, it is definitely believable. I agree, a part of me wants Yusei to die epically.

Jeez, I could read this all night. This is less of a fanfiction and more of a novel. Good job! The scene with Placido was beautifully tortouous to read. It gave this fake illusion of hope, and shattered it by killing off his lover and making him go bonkers. 0.O

But seriously, what I really love the most about this story is the depth you're adding to Aporia's and Antinomy's backstories, making them even more potentially sympathetic and even highlighting their bonds with Z-ONE. This particular chapter was especially poignant, it felt like the world they were in is being built now, something more tangible than just a distant apocalyptic future. It's lovely to see that world given flesh, given more attention than most stories (including mine, sob) will.

I certainly look forward to the next chapter!

Anyways, interesting chapter. Focusing more on the thoughts and feelings, you give an idea of how those who were the last of humanity felt, and all the struggles they went through, almost alone. Descriptions and beautiful words abound.
