Here's the funny thing. I read this a long time ago when I first started in the fandom, but I'd never see the movie so I didn't get the references. However, I just watched Wall-E tonight and this came straight into my mind! I actually enjoyed the movie even more because I was thinking of this fic and laughing at the idea of Robin and Wally in their respective roles. So honestly, this was really a rather clever little one shot. Kudos.

Very cute. Loved Wally's little explanation at the end about why Wall E was so drawn to EVE and how Robin was so like EVE. Really enjoyed this little piece.
