I like it. I really do :) I'm actually in the process of writing a oneshot like this but the tables are turned and it's Sakura who needs to be warmed up. Anyway keep up the good work. I look forward to reading more soon.

Ehh? No chakra? But you mentioned it with Sakura healing herself the 'old fashioned way.' Though I guess it makes sense to spare an instant cure for the both of them...

This is a really nice slice to read. I,of course, realize that the situation is one over done to death xD, but, it's entirely dependent on the writer to make it good for the reader and not the same old thing. I enjoyed this and hope you continue.

I like this, very much! I think the AU-verse works well; that was a good suggestion from the other reviewer.

One thing I did notice,is that it seems Kakashi can see through socks: "Ditching her boots but leaving the socks on because they were dry, the kunoichi bit her lower lip and averted her eyes from his face and body as she met him underneath the covers. She never noticed how his gaze swept from tousled pink hair to painted red toes as she neared him, a banked fire overlaid by exhaustion and lethargy in his mismatched eyes."

You might just have her go ahead and take the socks off since the following sentence is so nice.

Very enjoyable tension/comfortableness in this, I like the juxtaposition of the extremes; the sexual tension between them versus the attraction of being next to a warm body, i.e., one they've been attracted to for awhile. The bantering back and forth is a nice counterpoint as well.

I have no knife sharp enough to cut it, even if I was inclined to do so. I really loved the fact that, even after they are 'less cold' there wasn't just plain out pouncing. Ahhhh the teasing you provide us.

love it, but

1. in the world where i come from, kakashi doesnt just FALL into the pond.. and he doesnt get to play dead after defeating one snow abomination when sakura defeated 2 without incidence

2. A simple katon jutsu would have dried them off nicely...theyre ninja after all!

i think your story would be better in an other world reality, with kakashi and sakura not as ninjas, would be more believable

-Borat voice- Very nice! Enjoying it so far, had to fight the urge to shiver reading those very chillingly accurate descriptions of the cold! I'm up in the northeast US where we've literally been raped with snow and ice, so I certainly understand how they'd feel!
