from the sound of it in the beginning, sulu was the one who had actually gotten shot in the chest. I'm a little confused, is this split into two parts?

It's amazing how you can write such short stories and they end up so good. Good is probably inadequate awesome is better. Thanks for writing these stories.

Like this story it was definately more lit hearted and funny. When Jim was rubbing the spot of blood I thought that Reaper/Bones was going to say something like: This qualifies as sexual harassment you know. Hope you write more.

Oh my god! That was so sad. You are an amazing writer. Poor Bones having to go on along is heartbreaking. I could not keep the tears away when Bones held Jim as he died. Great story.

Wow really loved this one-shot. Just found this story and was blown away. Wish it was a longer story, just dieing to know who the target on the shuttle was. Your characters personalities were dead on. I know its been a year since you update a story but hope you continue to write.

Oh, wow! Wow! what an absolutely gripping chapter! Even knowing that as Reaper, McCoy would probably survive, I was literally gripping the arms of my chair...and even without his enhanced powers, McCoy's calm authority in crisis would be true to character...very poignant. Loved the Kirk/McCoy banter. Wonderful story, thank you!

Very entertaining! I just love this series! I'm amazed that you've been able to put them out so quickly and hope that you'll be able to keep up this high standard and keep on posting when you can. Lovely to see you broaden the range of characters included in the narrative, and I was muchly amused by the puns in the last little bit (doctoring reports, indeed).
