Sad ending. I wished Piper wouldnt die and wish to know the cause. So Im gonna read the next series. Well, thats one reason, the other is that you are an awesome writer.

Really nice story. I almost cried during Piper's final parts and mentions. But seriously I'm in the midst of reading 'Heroes and Legacies Book 1: The Prodigal Son' and I think that Piper is much better for Jason then Calypso. At least she is in the Isles of the Blest...

Why is is that EVERYONE assumes that it was just 300 hundred spartans? Sure they were there, but there were also about 5000 other assorted Greeks from Athens, Crete, Thebe, Rhode, all those places.
In the end, the spartans ordered all the others to leave when they realized they had been decepted and then held out for about...5-6 hours?

Sorry if you get offended (it really isnt an insult- your stories are amazing and your such a talented writer) but i hate how realistically this story ended! The fact that you killed Piper (no matter how sad i was about it) marks you as a writer who doesnt just go for the happy ending thats never even likely to happen- which i have a tendency to do myself! It shows you really take control of your writing and your not afraid to upset readers slightly to get desired effects (the fact that people havent turned their backs on your writing BECAUSE you upset them just proves how good you really are!) I read loads of stories every day, week, month, year (im a publisher) and the writers that actually make it through the publishing stages and beyond to become successful authors are the ones that will do what you've done with this whole series and take the things that are NEEDED (whether liked or not) and put them in regardless. One of the best PJO stories i've ever read! You certainly gave the whole thing closure and rounded off your series well. Cant wait for your next ones.
