Okay, well the mind-twist was definitely . . . a mind-twist! I did notice the name, and I figured before I got to it that you were going for something in that direction - though I didn't expect you to actually cross it over with the real world, so well done!

I liked the familiar banter and the easy way you showed that 'Harry' had come up with this . . . pastime, and the way that, even beyond the banter, the couple kind of rebounded off of each other, but obviously affectionate.

(There really isn't enough with this pairing, and thanks for writing it at all, much less so . . . realistically sweet, is all my brain's coming up with at the mo.)

'Harry' talking about the books being a sort or reaffirmation for him of how much more painful/difficult his life could have been - if he hadn't taken John up on his offer - was amusing and also an interesting view on the couple. Also amusing was his comment on the different ways he can come up with to hurt himself!

I'd kind of like to see John's reaction once he's actually read his way through the series, myself. *grin*

I don't know what to say... Just, ewwww.. Marcone? Really? On the other hand, it was well written and I can't speak for everyone but I had an emotional reaction to it. So if you were going for eliciting a reaction from the reader, well done! :)
