These are some pretty good ficlets overall. The humor is top-notch so far, and I'm loving the cheeky, heartwarming interactions Deryn and Alek are having. Most importantly, I like how this isn't just a bunch of one-shots following the old "characters meet up, have sex, then things wrap up shortly after the climax" trope that many M-rated fics follow. This is intelligent, thoughtful! It realizes that there's more to a relationship than merely getting it on with one's partner; something that I've only encountered in a handful of fanfics so far.
The last chapter was...different...but I'd be lying if I said I didn't laugh a few times while reading it. While I am hoping for a continuation of this eventually, I'd rather see the proper conclusion of the Brisco County crossover.
