And just as you enjoyed writing this piece, I really enjoyed reading it! I'm kind of shocked that you say that you have a bigger affinity for stories that are angsty. I wouldn't be able to tell with how well you adopted the hopeful tone here and stuck to it throughout. I think my favourite part definitely has to be that little show of how and why Green was the only one who could get through to Red and convince him to see his mother. Him getting his first win in that manner was such a perfect ending to a chapter in their rivalry and I really wish it happened in canon.
