This is beautiful. I'm sad to know that this is the end. But it's very fitting. They had their childhood. They grew up. Yusuke came back, and we know what happens next, more or less.
Though, I never thought of it this way. Usually, it's the magic girl shows, but Kuwabara more or less replaced his friends with his new ones. Usually, for the shows with guys, I can't recall a different group of friends, if that makes sense...

I'm sad to hear that you won't finish it as originally intended, but thank you for letting us know and posting what you have. I've enjoyed this journey thoroughly of seeing their childhood together.

This story is so sweet. I wasn't expecting to get drawn in but I totally did! The short chapters were great, although I found myself getting more and more sad as the chapter number went up because I didn't want to get to the end. Loved it so much! The writing is well done. I've never been a big Kuwabara fan but after reading this story he's won me over. You did an awesome job. I'm looking forward to the cinclusion!

Yes! I'm so excited to see an update. It's a nice interlude. I think this chapter really highlights the fact that although Yusuke is stronger, he's very lonely and probably admires Kuwabara a lot for his friends and family. Extrapolating, in the canon, Yusuke must have really treasured his newfound friends, which makes the scene where Kuwabara "died" in the Dark Tournament even more sad for the lack of a better word.

Course we'll hold out. This story really inspires me and I probably would have never gotten the kick to write my own Yu yu fic. I'm glad for your return!
