Oh, the ending was hilarious for this chapter! Made me burst out laughing. Hope I didn

You need to put in paragraphs, check spelling and punctuation and grammar and generally proof read. You called Phillipe Raoul.
like-what-was-i-meant-to-do chapter 2 . 8/1/2017
Oh, I so adore Charles Dance's phantom. It's my favorite adaptation. It's always thrilling to find a fanfiction based on it. I like this so far. The point of view thing is a little unusual, but it's still well written, so I can't complain. I usually am put off by extended paragraphs, as they make my head spin. But these aren't excessively long, so I can deal. Great work so far. :)
Angel of Iowa chapter 2 . 7/25/2016
Actually, the pantomime characters (as I know them, anyway,) are Harlequin & Columbine, Puchinello & Puchinella, and Pierrot & Pierrette.
owensheart chapter 2 . 1/21/2016
Loving this story, the 1990 version was and is one of my favourites.

and I certainly had no intention of cross-dressing! That line caught me off guard and had me laughing out loud because all I could hear in my mind is Charles Dance's voice saying that and then all of a sudden an image of Charles Dance's Erik in a dress popped into my mind.

Darksider27 chapter 2 . 3/25/2013
Meg, Madam Giry, Raoul are not in this version, if you have seen the 1990s movie or even the play you would know this. Count Philippe de Chandon is Raoul's replacement in this one. If your going to base it on the Yeston and Kopit phantom then please get the characters right.
6413645830 chapter 3 . 11/16/2011
I love your story, Charles Dance is my favorite Phantom (and I've seen/read ten different versions!). The story by Edgar Allen Poe that Red Death is in is 'the Masque of the Red Death'. I just realized that this story hasn't been updated for over nine years, so I doubt you'll get this, much less reply. I still love your story so far.
Caterina chapter 3 . 3/21/2009
I just wanted to say that I very much enjoy your story. Also, the Red Death in Edgar Allen Poe's story is a symbol he uses for the plague. However, it appears in The Masque of the Red Death. Once again, you've written a nice story.
Kathy.L chapter 8 . 1/29/2006
Wow this was a really good fic I absolutley love the 1990 version but didn't like how it ended.

You had me crying there in the end *sniff*
Clever Lass chapter 8 . 5/24/2005
This was cute beyond words, but the ending was decidedly rushed.

I wanted a *lot* more fluff there at the end, and you just dismissed the whole thing with a one-line about "...my husband, Erik."

Wah! Give us fluff!
Sophie chapter 8 . 9/11/2004
What a wonderful story! I loved the mini-series and I thought that your fic was a terrific addition to it. An enjoyable read!
Diana chapter 5 . 8/19/2002
