I've read this story several times, and I love it. Although it makes me cry, I can not help rereading it again and again. God bless you, continue to write stories as shocking as this.

It is quite sad how this scenario looks like it could happen, you know? Friends drifting away, growing old, forgetting...

Best story I think I've ever read. When I read Twilight's final letter to Spike... I cried, I'm not going to lie. In fact this is one of the only works of MLP stories that can really make me cry. Great work!

I only watched about half of My Little Pony: FiM, and this has got to be one of the most emotional stories I've ever read on this site. Every is perfect; the character in it, the writing is fantastic, and, I'll be honest, that last entry in Twilight's journal was just unbelievable. Every word in that was so powerful, it actually made me cry a bit. Hugh kudos to you, and this would make a perfect series finale to MLP when it does end.

Although if I had to nitpick, there's one bit that kinda threw me off; Twilight's death was a bit random. It felt like Spike was out having fun and then Twilight just dies a bit randomly. But even then, it adds to the drama.

This is the saddest story I have ever read that wasn't true and it made me cry. Scratch that, it made me sob. I think this would be the best possible ending for twilight sparkle and I am very appreciative (though I know she is not real) to Luna, for telling Spike about her last words

I first stumbled upon the comic version of this story on youtube, and then went to read it on deviantART. This being the original, I thought it would be best if I posted my review here.
Many times reading the comic, and later this fic, I almost broke down into tears, I still may later on. What makes this hit so close to home is that it is, in every way, as close to the real thing you can get. All the characters act in the way you expect them to and, after watching their relationships grow and expand over three years, with more on the way, readers have a very real conection to what is happening in this fic. It feels as if one of our own friends has passed away. As I understand it, few could have pulled this off as well as you did. My greatest compliments to your work.
