  Leaf chapter 10 . 5/19/2019 Oh, I love the idea of them putting off the talk. I agree that sometimes you have to let someone figure things out on their own and most of all, let them choose when they want to have those kinds of conversations. Instead of the friend pushing them to open up about sensitive and personal information. Everyone has a right to their privacy and should get the chance to trust someone first, trust like Steve has for Danny because Danny gave him good reasons to. And Danny, grudgingly, let the issue go. Something a lot of characters in shows don’t usuallys do. I also liked how Steve had a retreat all to his own. That he wasn’t reckless with his emotions but was aware of both his physical and mental needs. Deciding to make it a habit to go back to the beach more often. Overall, great story! |

| LisaG16 chapter 10 . 7/14/2011 This was really great! I think not delving into the details of what upset Steve so much is perfectly fine...it allows you (and the reader) to concentrate on the characters feelings of bonding and brotherhood, etc. instead. Really heartwarming story. :) |
| BandBfan chapter 10 . 5/31/2011 I really enjoyed the insight into Steve's back history here. Steve really does have those impenetrable walls up on the show too! The peace the ocean,the wind & the stars brought Steve, I so connected with this, I treasure those things myself. Danny's realization that they are "Brothers", loved this. When you are involved in the kind of life that, together, the boys, Kono and Chin Ho are, Ohana will happen if the vibe between them is there. IMO, you have to have that connection, that bond, to be successful in a team situation like 5-0. Again, really enjoyed this look into Steve & Danny's bond. Thanks for sharing, Cindy |

| cate's corner chapter 10 . 5/18/2011 Oh, what a perfect ending to what's become one of my all time favourite stories here. I just loved it all, from Steve's temptation to wake Danny up (and, of course, Danny's response!), to Danny's relief that Steve is alright, that simple but heartfelt apology, and then on to the special relationship that we all see them as - brothers. Just beautiful! My only regret is that this story is now finished, but I know there'll be more to look forward to in the future. I can't wait to read them! :o) Cate |
