Umm you repeated the chapter twice at the point that the boats took to the water. Or very close there after. Hagrid said FORWARD. You might want to check to make sure you hadn’t meant to put something else there instead.

Otherwise awesome story. I very much hope to read more one day soon.

not done! Brilliant story so far by the way, minus the Dudley-wizard-part-thingamajig.

I am actually liking the loving Dursleys and magical, pranking buddy Dudley ideas, which is not something I've really read before. That it appears that the Dursley's treatment of Harry in canon is down to compulsions on the letter that Dumbledore left on their doorstep is something I've seen before, but not like this. I like how you flipped the search for Neville's toad scene on its ear with Harry and Neville being the ones to search the train instead of Hermione and Neville. "Biblion Philos" was a nice touch to keep Ron at bay and give Hermione a chance to bond with Harry.

I do hope that the Weasley twins are allowed to become Harry's friends in this story regardless of his relationship (or lack of) with Ron. I've always liked the twins as Harry's friends and just like when it happens with Neville, Tonks, McGonagall, Arthur Weasley, Hermione and/or Luna, I get uncomfortable reading stories where they get lumped in with people like Dumbledore, Molly, Ron, Ginny and Snape when the latter group is acting in Dumbledore/Molly's self-interest rather than in Harry's best interest. So hopefully the twins aren't a part (or at least a knowing part) of Dumbledore's schemes in this story, should you choose to continue it down the road.

My only issue with this story really is that the scene that takes place on the train, all the way up until they get on the boats, appears to have been done twice in this chapter. I actually had to go back and read this page again to make sure that the last chunk of the story was almost entirely the same as the previous chunk of this chapter.
