This is a great story, very suspenseful and exciting, and the way you've portrayed Alex's shifting relationship with her kidnapper is very good indeed, as is the uneasiness and uncertainty in the Chris/Shaz relationship. I've only just found this story, and am so sorry that it isn't complete. Hoping you can update sometime.

Sorry for late review. Wow. How did gene know about the note relating to Alex or is he in so much distress for losing her that he can't focus on anything but Alex therefore in his eyes it hasto be about Alex? Can't wait to read more.
