I don't think that was Fai's point of view. Kurogane had everything he ever wanted. And he was so caught up in pleasure he didn't realize something was wrong. That Fai had deliberately prevented him from saying he loved him back.

It's an awesome story. Sweet and funny. And the end is definitely bittersweet because you can imagine that even as they're together and Fai tells him he loves him, he's already distancing himself.

I simply adore this fic. I've always loved reading about Kurogane's and Fai's time in Yama and you are the first author I've come across to actually give Kurogane and Fai army ranks. Most of the time, the two are just portrayed as "Yasha's strongest men" but in this story, you made it seem like they were an actual army, rather than simply men fighting against another clan. Kudos for that.

I will be honest, though, and admit that my favorite part was when Huang found out what his superiors were up to. It reminds me of how Syaoran would react if/when he finds out about how the two adults actually act. xD

I'm hoping to be able to read more of your stories soon :)

I really liked this fic, it's funny and sweet at the same time. I really couldn't stop laughing when Fai just came over and tickled Kurogane, I could perfectly picture it in my head and it's hilarious no matter what way I see it xD
I also liked a lot how Fai could understand Kurogane at the end and yet he was playing dumb, loved that part.
The whole of it was an excellent job and well written. You did a great job :)

Such a beautiful story and very in character, as always. You have a talent for making the characters come to life. I wasn't reading this story, I was watching it in my head like a movie. Very few authors can do that for me, and I'm proud to say that you're one of them. This is why I love your writing so much. I've missed your fanfics!

This is kind of brilliant. I mean, I was expecting it to end after the first scene - it was "oh, that was nice..."

And then you wrote MORE.

I'm glad to see the maturing of their relationship, especially their interactions as Corporal and Sergeant. :D And the way they dealt with the language barrier. Pfft lavender soap.
