Ironhide's attempts to connect the little he knows of human motherhood with Cybertronian ideas of family and parentage are so awkward, and yet so endearing. Seeing him in the very earliest days of his relationship with the Lennox family is precious. The moment where he imagines Chromia interacting with Annabelle is particularly touching. |

It really stresses the relationship between Ironhide and Sarah, even though it's still (more or less) in the beginning stages. But it's already visible how close Ironhide will become with the Lennox's. I really like how you portrayed the effort Ironhide made to show his appreciation toward Sarah; it's also very touching to see that the Autobots go at such lengths to really include themselves into their friends' lives to create themselves a new home. Thank you so much for posting this fic. I was very deeply touched by it. |
