Leonardo gave a firm shake of his head, and finally there was a glimmer of a smile breaking through. "I, uh…" he shook his head, as if lost for words, and then he leaned forward, resting his elbows on his knees as he looked down at his feet, and at last dropped the last remaining shreds of composure. His mouth widened in a grin and his shoulders began to shake with laughter, and when he could manage it, he said, "She, uh, when I first found Miguelita…" He was laughing too much to really talk smoothly, "She was, she was in the snare and—" Leo's voice broke again, and he glanced up at Mike as if in apology before he said, "Sh-she was screaming." More laughter. "Just squealing really, really, loud… high-pitched… and I'm sorry, Mikey, but—" He was shaking his head now, wiping involuntary tears of laughter from his eyes. "Whenever she did that, it just… reminded me so much of you."

I love this when I imagine Leo trying to stop his laughter. It's cute!

This is the after credits scene we needed.

This was a wonderful read, I loved the details, and the brothers learning to be around each other again.

This might be the best Ninja Turtles story I've ever read. I was totally sucked in. Loved the rare Mike/Leo bonding. Donnie and Leo being in on the Miguelita joke was funny. Didn't expect Raph to be in this story. You used him well and didn't make him ooc. Like the idea of Leo and Raph being a little too cordial so as not to step on each other's toes. Miguelita the pig sounds very cute, by the way. Your descriptions of Costa Rica were amazing and I could see it in my head. Loved how perceptive Mikey is and I kinda wish we could see how that party turned out. The ending was perfect, with just enough humor and all heart. Thank you.

Kame Terra, I believe I've read something of yours before, and just as with the other, I find this one exquisitely written. Brilliant from start to finish. I love the fluff, the story itself. So gripping! Moving. I just wanna get in there and give them all hugs. Excellent work, dear fellow, excellent I say!

That was wonderful, hilarious and adorable, I loved it and nice job. I especially liked the part about the pig and Michelangelo comparison, I liked the blend in with the 2003 and 2007 turtles and my favorite part was that all four brothers were together at the end of this, thanks for sharing

This was really, really beautiful. There's not nearly enough Mike and Leo interaction in fanfic...I love how you finally brought them all together at the end, as it should be. It will still take more time until things really feel right, of course, but it's a powerful image to have the four of them all together like that. Well done. :)

Way too cute! Characterization was on point, though I couldn't quite decide whether to imagine them as 2k3 turtles or 2007 movie turtles while I was reading this- nonetheless, I felt the plot blended nicely into the 2k3 universe. There were a few times I laughed, and Leo having a pet pig is just about the cutest image ever- and just how excited and lonely he admits to being, while still being good old Leo, was masterfully done.
