This was ... fabulous, perfection, amazing ... and so many other splendid adjectives. I love the idea of Uther having soft spot Guinevere, especially after she served as his personal nurse. My only complaint about this story is that there isn't more. Well done and well written.

I think you really flawlessly exploited all of Gwen's positive attributes... I have to believe that Uther, is he spent any length of time with her, would feel sorry for all that he put her through.

And she is so kind and good... she couldn't really hold his actions against him.

you don't try to make Uther seem perfect, but you do present him in a far more redeemable light than it's tempting to! ;)

Gwen has such a kind heart and what a forgiving nature! It's a good thing Uther is starting to see the beginnings of the wonderful qualities of Gwen which will make him understand why Arthur fell in love with her. Gwen gives everyone the benefit of doubt. She believes everyone can change for better or worse e.i. Morgana from good spoiled princess to lying evil sorceress.

Wonder if season 4 will start a amiable relationship between Uther and Gwen like you described? It'll take time especially if Uther still is a proud and arrogant man who doesn't care anything about the common people.
